WALK WITH THE ALPACAS
Alpacas are loved for their teddy bear-like appearance, supersoft luxurious fleece, seductive large brown eyes and their calming and engaging presence. This experience offers a one-of-a-kind chance to connect with these therapeutic animals in a safe and peaceful environment.
What you will experience:
- Enjoy a relaxing countryside walk alongside your alpaca.
- An expert guide will teach you how to lead your four-legged friend safely and provide you with fun facts while you meander through the peaceful fields and soak up the calm vibes and charming nature of your fluffy pal.
- Their curious personalities are guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
- And rest assured, there will be plenty of time to capture a momentous selfie with your cheeky companion.

Remember to book early. For the well-being of our fluffy friends and to ensure an optimal experience, bookings are limited to two daily sessions – 11am and 1.30pm
Booking options:
- Single Alpaca Walking Experience: a one-to-one stroll with your alpaca.
- Shared Alpaca Walking Experience: take turns leading one alpaca, snapping photos of each other along the way.
- Private Alpaca Walking Experience: a private guided walk specifically for you and your friends and family. You can take up to six walkers and have fun sharing three alpacas.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Entrance: For those participating in the Alpaca Experience, entrance is included.
- Experience times: 11am and 1.30pm, 7 days a week, throughout the year.
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Who can attend: Minimum age: 5 years old. Children under 10 years must be accompanied by a participating adult aged 16 years or over. Participants under the age of 16 years must be accompanied on site by an adult who holds a valid entrance ticket.
- Wheelchairs: This is NOT wheelchair accessible.
- What to wear: Clothes may get dirty or scuffed; for this reason, we advise you to wear old clothes.
- Footwear: Trainers, boots or wellies MUST be worn.
- Booking: Advance booking via email is required for this experience. Your voucher is valid for 12 months.

Most of our birds and animals used for experience sessions are hand-reared and enjoy human interaction; however, like us all, they have off days, and occasionally, they do not want to participate. For their well-being and yours, we cannot guarantee they will interact with participants.
ALPACA EXPERIENCE PRICES
Personal is the essence of our alpaca walks, and with this in mind, there is a maximum of six participants per session. For those participating in the experience, entry is included in the price.
After your experience, you’ll have the entire day to explore all our facilities, should you wish to do so.
