Part Time Vacancy – Parrot Handler / Cleaner
2 or 3 days a week (weekend work may be required)
Tropical Birdland are looking for a part time individual to come and join our team in preparation for the upcoming busy season.
The candidate will be required to work 2 or 3 full days a week (weekends may be required) on our parrot path area where they will be needed to handle and supervise our birds around the public. This role will also involve some daily cleaning of aviaries and bird accommodation.
The candidate will need to be confident in handling birds, confident around customers in assisting them with the handling of birds and ensuring the safety of all our parrots within this area. This role will involve working outdoors so the candidate must be prepared and willing to undertake this work in all weathers.
Prior experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.

Tropical Birdland
Evening Cleaner
(Part time – seasonal)
Working hours will be flexible starting from 5pm – 8pm
We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
Duties will include cleaning the café, Toilets, and our picnic area. The candidate will need to be good at working by themselves and be trustworthy and reliable.

The Real Macaw
The cafe here at tropical birdland is currently recruiting someone to join their team.
We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday, 3 days a week 9am until 5pm.
This will include school holidays and the occasional weekend.
Duties will include:
- Kitchen work
- Tills & Customer Service
- Cleaning the Cafe.

They must have a good understanding of food hygiene and good presentation. They must work well under pressure
at a fast pace to deliver good tasty food. We would like them to be able to work on their own doing all aspects
of the day to day running of the café on quieter days. Requirements of flexibility, reliability and a full driving license
